Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony. - Mahatma Gandhi |

Balance - by definition is a state of equilibrium
Something we all strive for in our daily lives. By using the word strive, there is an implication that it may take work to reach this state. However, it doesn't have to be this way; life doesn't have to be hard, for the most part, we have been conditioned into thinking this way for generations! To have happiness, there need not be struggle or sacrifice; how many of us were told as children you won't get anything in life without a struggle, life is hard work but you have to make do... Happiness is possible for us all and often far easier to achieve than we may have thought. Don't buy into the fear and negativity that we are fed on a daily basis. Yes, it will still be in the world, but you don't have to make it part of your daily reality. The beauty of free will is that we always have a choice; to believe and then buy into the fear or to not. How often do you give yourself the time to admire the exquisiteness around you? How often do you put a stop to the ramblings in your mind long enough to listen to bird song on a sunny day? In today's world, we are once again conditioned into fitting enough tasks in that would take up a 26-hour day! How can you have balance when you give yourself no time? So today give yourself the most precious gift of all - Time. Time to stop, breathe, and admire something Awe-inspiring. Allow your thoughts to drift away from the hubbub of daily life, even if only for 10 minutes during your lunch break. Perhaps you will enjoy this so you might choose to do it the following day and the day after that and the day after that one... Love, light and many blessings your life and your mind!
